Tours are designed for groups or for private charters and offer a UNIQUE ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE for people who love nature, wildlife and the outdoors.
We offer WELL-ORGANISED, WELL-RESOURCED AND RELAXED ADVENTURES that embrace traditional Aussie camping methods – tents, campfires – and take visitors to Far North Queensland's special places usually not accessible to the general public.
The road conditions are challenging with many steep ascents, descents and river/creek crossings. The FLORA AND FAUNA changes with the environment as we drive higher up into the Cape.
The LANDSCAPE IS DIVERSE: huge sand dunes and rugged hills to rainforest, broad planes, woodlands and wetlands.
With SAFETY OF ADVENTURERS and staff in mind, we have top-of-the-range fully equipped 4x4 vehicles, which include all the necessary recovery equipment, satellite navigation and all maps and compasses needed for traditional navigation, a satellite rescue beacon and satellite phone.

Wildlife
Encounters with the wildlife en route in the rivers and creeks includes salt water crocodiles, fresh water crocodiles, jungle perch, barramundi and turtles.
On the land expect a chance meeting with kangaroos, water buffalo, wild boar, wallabies, monitor lizards, snakes, cassowaries, kookaburras and eagles.
Photography
We stop at numerous spectacular sites on each tour where keen photographers can capture the abundant wonders of the natural wildlife and fauna and flora.
Our guides will cross mountains and ford streams to ensure that you take home some great images from your adventure tour.
Guides
Wayne and Taff have driven 4x4 vehicles in Australia, Africa, Scandinavia, Europe and The Middle East. They are adventurous guys. Other wild credits include sailing across the Pacific, mountaineering, rock-climbing, camping, diving and fishing on most continents.
They are fully trained in advanced 4x4 skills, defensive driving, navigational techniques and have current first aid qualifications.
Vehicles
Our two Toyota FJ Cruisers carry up to four (max) passengers plus the guide (per vehicle) in comfort on some of the best off-road tracks in one of the true Australian wilderness areas – Cape York Peninsula.
